BE SAFE.
STAY HEALTHY.

We are in the process of planning our re-entry into social dancing. Check out our calendar for events that are happening now!

COVID-19

Dear SwingOut Adventurers,

We are moving slowly when it comes to the decision of resuming our dance classes and events. Please know that we are closely following the advice of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and Idaho Department of Health & Welfare and will inform you immediately when we do decide to resume.

For now, check out our calendar for other groups out there dancing. (We are not affiliated with all the events on our calendar, but we want you to know all the fun places to get out there and dance!)

Thank you for your understanding. Please stay healthy and we hope to see you soon!

Why is it important to be proactive?

Why should I worry about COVID-19?

As of March 13, the WHO’s website states that “illness due to COVID-19 infection is generally mild, especially for children and young adults. However, it can cause serious illness: about 1 in every 5 people who catch it need hospital care.” This is not just the flu or a common cold. This is why it is important to be proactive.

The WHO also states that “we can channel our concerns into actions to protect ourselves, our loved ones and our communities. First and foremost among these actions is regular and thorough hand-washing and good respiratory hygiene. Secondly, keep informed and follow the advice of the local health authorities including any restrictions put in place on travel, movement, and gatherings.”
